Blacksburg Church of Christ
Welcome
The Blacksburg Church of Christ consists of people who are sinners, saints, and seekers. Sinners because we all fall short of what God wants for us (Romans 3: 23). We are not perfect and we all have struggles. We realize that only by God's grace and not by our own efforts can we be made whole again and have our sins taken away.
Saints because we are "sanctified" or made whole by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross to take away our sins and reconcile us to God, the Father (Romans 3: 24 - 26). Those that accept God's offer of life through Jesus can be in close relationship with the one and only God and with other Christians.
Seekers because if we are Christians, we are all striving to be more like Jesus and follow His example - growing spiritually everyday, and encouraging and helping each other along the way. We do this through worship, service, and fellowship.

Needs Thanks and Prayers
Dear brothers and sisters,
Our material belongings are packed and loaded onto a truck and headed toward our new home in Blacksburg. Tonia and the girls and I are thrilled...and relieved. Packing for a cross-country move is not only time-consuming and tiring but also emotional. Sifting through old pictures and mementos of our years here in Montana and the many years we spent in Michigan—not to mention seeing how much younger we looked—is both heart-warming and heart-breaking. No doubt when we drive away from here tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) we will be doing so with many tears. We count ourselves blessed to have been able to serve God’s church and to make such close and enduring friendships in the process. Now God’s blessed us again...we get to do the same with all of you in Virginia! Truly He is a God of goodness and grace.
Lord willing, we will arrive in Blacksburg Thursday afternoon or evening. Then bright and early Friday morning the moving company will deliver our stuff to our new home at 2605 Spring Hollow Lane. We can’t wait! We won’t need help unloading the truck—the moving company will take care of that--but we’d love for you to stop by any time on Friday or Saturday just to visit (or to help move a box or two from room to room :). Just so you’ll know, on Sunday morning my message will be titled, I Want to Leave a Legacy. I can’t wait to share it with you! May God bless it to your benefit it and to His glory.
Please pray for our safety and sanity as we make the long trek to our new home...so much awaits us there, I know. We love you and thank God that He’s blessed us with you. We pray that we will bless you too. See you soon!
Your brother, Frank Sullivan
